In this video, I'm going to show you how to take off the diaphragm and the non-chill rim of the Littman Lightweight II S.E., and then I'm going to show you how to put them back on.

Hey, hey. What's up, guys? Nurse Jenny here.

Have you ever thought about how you're going to take off your diaphragm and non-chill rim of your Littman Lightweight II S.E. stethoscope?

Well, if you have, you're in luck.

I'm going to show you exactly how to do it in this video, and if you're into all things nursing like me, consider subscribing.

If you found this video at all helpful, please give it a thumbs up.

Let's get into the video.

So to actually remove the diaphragm of the stethoscope, you would simply put your fingers on the plastic rim of the diaphragm and gently pull upwards.

It is quite easy to take it off.

The plastic is really soft.

It is one of the easiest ones that I've tried.

Don't worry if the diaphragm comes off the border.

You can easily put it back into place by just putting it into the groove, work your way around, and snap it back into place.

To put the diaphragm back onto the chestpiece, you would simply put the diaphragm into the groove of the chestpiece, and then work your fingers all the way around, and then make sure it fits properly.

You'll hear it snap into place, and that's it.

Taking off the non-chill rim is super easy.

You simply take your nails on the non-chill rim, and lift it slightly, and pull it off.

It'll come off really easy.

To put it back on, you just put it back on top of the chestpiece, work your fingers all the way around, and it will snap back into place.

All the stethoscopes that have in my videos, I give away, so if you want the chance to win, click the link in the show notes.

So to summarize, the diaphragm and non-chill rim is really easy to take on and off.

The non-chill rim comes off maybe a little bit too easy, but in saying that, I have used the stethoscope at work for a long time, and the non-chill rim has never just fallen off or anything like that, so that's good.

Thank you for watching my video.

I'll see you next time, and remember, listen with your heart.
